My favorite places in Mexico – Tzintzuntzan, Michoacan

One of my favorite places in Mexico and first I’m going to present is Tzuntzuntzan in Michoacan. It’s located 30 km to the west from state capitol Morelia. It used to be capitol of Purhepecha tribe’s kingdom and in their language  it means “home of the humming  birds”. It is so dear to me due to it’s small pyramids, colorful and cheap market and independent culture. Here are some photos.
